Morone Swimbaits 2018 New Editions for the trophy Bass Striper Musky Pike swimbait fishing enthusiast

The Northern California area marks many things one being trophy striped bass holding water. The spring marks a time of spawning for these amazing swimbait eating fish. Its amazing to watch a huge female get chased by males ready to spread the trophy genetic make up the posses. The big monsters are lurking and they are watching. They lay low during the day like great white sharks ready to pounce. The last part of the day as the sun sets its game time. Most anglers have hit the road as they stage to ambush and eat .
Over the last 4 years fishing large swimbaits for these trophy striper has become a true passion for a small crew of local anglers. Morone set out to bring swimbaits to the table that people could afford and also to spread the passion for this fun filled approach to the challenge of catching a possible 50 lb striped bass 5 minutes from home. Its exiting and it has our local fishing community tuned into the opportunity fishing these large swimbaits bring to the table of striper tactics and techniques. The days of cut bait are basically over for most of us who seen stripers react to the action of the Morone swimbaits. They look like real forage fish and you can control your offering to tempt the giants.
We have found striper are very in tune with what they pick out for a dinner time meal. During the day this is a proven fact tested on schooly sized pack stripes. These guys give you an idea of what works and what does not. We enjoy fishing the 10 inch baits because its a dinner bell. The action coming from the Morone swimbaits will get noticed but when the ambush happens will you be denied? We have taken this thought to the next level by matching the local fish that these fish dine on. We also offer a down sized version for days when the fish tune into smaller schools of these baitfish and forage fish. Some of the new 2018 edition swimbaits will have you headed to our store when you see them. We have brought the swimbait fishing community the Kokanee offering which the industry has modeled after. The Albino trout was another fun one that got mass attention. Or as we call it the Oroville Ogrotton. They designed to fish our local Mackinaw trout on the troll and boy did it get some attention. Its a hands down lake trout catcher. If you have Kokanee and lake trout or Mackinaw as the are called in the west you need a Morone Kokanee swimbait in your boat. Big bass also enjoy smashing these swimbaits.
We are about 10 days out from runveiling our new 2018 swimbaits and are very exited to share them. We hope to hear from some of the shops so we can get these out to your customers also. We have kept our business smll but are now extending our passion for swimbaits out far beyond the Northern California testing waters. They work and the images will get that reaction bite you need after you have tempted a giant out from under a log jam mid day. That's a big reward, one people search out. The 2018 Morone swimbait collection will help you on your way to not only the trophy bass, striper, musky or pike. The Morone swimbaits will also just help you catch more fish. Its so much fun! Our store is listed on the blog for people to pick them up or you can request them at your local tackle shop. We are going to be updating this blog often to get people tuned in and on their way to this amazing style of fishing. We also hope to connect with some of the amazing rod and reel builders who have made exclusive swimbait rod and reel designs geared toward this style of fishing.

Fishing for trophy trout with Morone swimbaits

A giant Mackinaw trout that eat a Morone swimbait slow trolled while fishing Buck's Lake in Northern California.

When it comes to giant trophy trout the massive girth then adorn is for a reason. we have a video of this fish with two Kokanee salmon down its throat. This did not stop this Buck's lake Mackinaw  from calling this Morone Pond Smelt swimbait his third coarse. We make a Kokanee swimbait that we will be fishing exclusivly on Friday. We are hoping to turn the record books in our direction over the next month or so, stay tuned.
There are rainbow trout lurking in places you fish often. hooking one on light tackle ends in a break of in most cases. Grab a bigger line and spool up with some line a few sizes up from your norm. Spend some time working the Morone swimbaits in likely areas or areas you have metered with large marks on your fish finder. These monster trout eat small trout for snacks if that gives you a big hint on what to do next. For rainbows try the Morone Hatchery Stocker or the Morone Native rainbow trout swimbait. Bass Tackle Depot in Oroville California is running a promo sale to get the lures in peoples hands to try out. Big trout are worth your time even if your a die hard bass fisher. Try slow trolling these on the way back to the dock or cast them from shore. Most of us enjoy time patrolling the shoreline on foot. It serves as a great past time when the weather and winds call a boating outing off. Enjoy the new Morone swimbaits and build your collection today.
The Morone swimbaits can also be found at http://www.irideus.com 24 hours a day.
